Every season, our small troupe of reviewers watches dozens of free casual games audition. The five most delightful jester-themed acts make the bill. No purchases hide behind the curtain, no tickets are sold — the entire show is free to play, and always will be.

A card-matching spectacle in which every suit hides a scrap of the jester's diamond-patterned coat. Collect the full costume across ninety hand-illustrated deals, each more ornate than the last.
Curtain call: rapturous — the season's standing ovation.
A stage-direction puzzle: arrange masks, props and lights so the pantomime plays out without a hitch. When the scene finally runs clean, the little theatre erupts — and so did we.
Curtain call: warm and long — three encores in our house.
A turn-based ring show where the wild card is literally the jester in the ring — send him tumbling between acts to patch mishaps before the audience notices. Clever, if occasionally chaotic.

A memory game staged as a puppet show. Marionettes strike poses two at a time; find the mirrored pairs before the interval bell. Gentle, generous, and quietly hilarious.

Our reviewing custom, in three short scenes
We shortlist only casual games with the jester at their heart, playable free in full. Anything that asks for money at any point is shown the stage door.
Each game plays a three-week run on our own devices — evenings, weekends, ferry crossings — before a word of the review is written.
We describe the curtain call: how the house felt when the act ended. No number scores — theatres never needed them, and neither do we.
